Role Title : Sr. Java Developer Duration: 6 months+ Location : 2-3 days onsite a week (Sunnyvale, CA) Work Authorization : All Visa Client: Walmart Rate: $60 Interview : Skype Last feedback- we submitted three Java developers out of which 1 is in consideration and the rest are rejected. MUST HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, Azure, NoSQL, and Cassandra. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Experience working with cloud-based solutions, preferably Azure. Proficiency in NoSQL databases, with a focus on Cassandra. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Azure, or Cassandra. Responsibilities: Software Development: Design, code, and test high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Azure, NoSQL, and Cassandra. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications through effective coding practices. Technology Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot for building microservices. Utilize Kafka for building scalable and fault-tolerant event-driven systems. Work with Azure cloud services to deploy and manage applications. Implement and optimize NoSQL databases, with a particular emphasis on Cassandra. System Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements. Collaborate with architects to create efficient and effective solutions. Code Quality and Testing: Enforce best practices for coding standards, code reviews, and unit testing. Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
