Need 5 to 10yrs of exp, OPT is also fine Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with strong experience in Azure to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database design and development, as well as a solid grasp of Azure services. You will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our SQL databases while leveraging Azure's capabilities to enhance our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to meet business requirements. Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques. Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and migration. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable database solutions. Manage and monitor Azure SQL Database and other Azure services such as Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake. Ensure data integrity and security through effective database management practices. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing timely support to ensure minimal downtime. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, configurations, and processes. Stay current with emerging database technologies and industry trends, particularly in relation to Azure services. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL programming. Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Solid understanding of database design principles, indexing, and query optimization. Experience with ETL processes and tools. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques. Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
