Job Title: Sr. Data Scientist Location: Remote Job Type: Full time Experience: 15+ Years Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with deep knowledge in car leasing, specifically in residual value and residual risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, predictive analytics, and predictive modeling, combined with expertise in Azure Machine Learning, MLOps, and a solid understanding of Python and SAS. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth analysis of car leasing data, with a specific focus on residual value and residual risk. Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to forecast residual values and assess residual risks accurately. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Utilize Azure Machine Learning platform to build, deploy, and manage machine learning models and pipelines. pply MLOps practices to streamline the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation to model deployment and monitoring. Explore and leverage various statistical modeling techniques to improve predictive analytics capabilities. Interpret and communicate analytical insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and decision-makers. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of data science, machine learning, and car leasing industry. Requirements Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on car leasing, residual value, and residual risk analysis. Strong expertise in Azure Machine Learning, MLOps, predictive analytics, and predictive modeling. Proficient in Python and SaS programming languages, with a solid understanding of data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). Experience in working with large datasets and implementing data preprocessing techniques. Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex business challenges using data-driven approaches. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the car leasing or automotive industry. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as Azure Data Lake and Azure Databricks. Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI) for creating intuitive and impactful visualizations. Experience with SQL and relational databases.
