| Role : Workday (Senior Engineer) Length of Contract: CTH role; following up on length of contract before the role goes permanent Rate : $60/hr on C2C Location: * Hybrid - Local candidate preferred; 2x/week (office in Elmhurst, IL on **Tuesday and 2nd day could be Wednesday or *Thursday Skills/ Must Haves: * COMMUNICATION SKILLS - need maturity in speaking about experience, knowledge * Workday modules - Finance for sure; HCM highly preferred (hard to find both but if client had to rank it would be finance first) - could consider super strong HCM if willing to learn Finance * XSLT 3.0 is a must have * Workday Studio - key - most of work is there - What Studio integration development have they done - describe complexity - must be able to discuss details of something they have worked on * 4-7 years of experience Acceptable Work Authorization Statuses: * US Citizen or Green Card Extra Notes: * Team Dynamic- Current Workday team is 4 (1 is offshore and leaving as well). Works alongside Java Dev team which is 3 others. All work together as part of Scrum team. * Projects - Benefits project right now, typically 1 person working a project but collaborating sometimes * Project Example - Coming up is A/R integrations project - Have problems with them - some will be redesigning completely and others will be more focused on cleanup of error messages, and then the work coming along with that; * Another Project - Whole effort supplier cleanup - Supplier data cleanup (Workday is one of them); supplier integration will work with dev team closely - * Reporting to Software Integrations Manager * Will have a lot of interaction with end users and getting hands in everything - communication needs to be strong * Scrum Meetings daily * W/L Balance promoted - everyone logs in at 9am, get work done but if have to pick up kids or go to appointment, it is very flexible environment but need to get work done and be available online during normal business hours) Job Description: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE: Qualified professional with 4-7 years of experience working as Workday Developer (HCM & Financials) Experience with all phases of Workday Implementation such as Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing Designed and built both inbound and outbound integrations in various segments of the Workday system using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connectors * XSLT 3.0 experience Extensive custom studio development experience Hands-on creating Finance integrations using Workday Connectors like CCW, PICOF, PECI, ADP Connectors, Banking connectors, Finance connectors, and CCBs Experience developing various robust simple, advanced, and matrix custom reports in various HCM and Finance modules Good HCM and FIN functional knowledge Great communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with Business representatives on requirements, end user validation and troubleshooting -- Keywords: rlang information technology golang Illinois Workday Engineer// Elmhurst, IL // USC/GC [email protected] |
