Team lead really wants to see the Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience somewhere though. Tough to find. POSITION SUMMARY: Build and implement complex SAS programs to streamline data operations between platforms, to efficiently create marketing list, and to automate analytic reports generation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess business, data & technical needs for marketing campaigns and promotions Develop sophisticated SAS programs to diagnose data problems or limitations and propose or implement appropriate solutions. Develop SAS programming best practices and standards across clients teams. Assist client and account team with campaign planning, identification of analytical needs, and strategic planning processes. Understand business rules and document technique and data briefs Collect and document selection criteria and business rules for new marketing campaigns and promotions Design and execute campaign processes to create data outputs supporting personalized marketing interactions Develop and leverage deep understanding of the clients customer data Execute database marketing campaigns with accuracy and meet deadlines Interface with email service providers to stage data for campaign execution Develop plan for, analyze, and product reports from customer data for client, account, and consulting team(s) Support peers with code peer reviews and queries to audit campaigns and/or analysis and provide data to support email testing Produce strong communications about database marketing for technical and non-technical audiences Work with Account Services, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Application Development and Creative teams to provide a diverse set of data services Manage multiple projects and deliverables Ability to work and handle projects independently QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Four Year Degree. Extensive knowledge of SAS and 7 plus years of SAS programming experience. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong SAS skill in high-level and complex computer programming, testing, quality control, and problem solving necessary to ensure accurate and high-quality work. Detail-oriented in preparing and reviewing technical documents. Highly organized; ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to multiple data management platforms and program languages.
