| From: Sonali Tiwari, TEK Inspirations [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Request Title: SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management Work Location: Plymouth, MN (Remote + Occasional Onsite Meeting) Description: Managing Mgmt Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management (CPM) Lead/Senior Consultant to support the Discovery and Explore phases of our SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and a proven track record in leading and supporting the initial phases of large-scale SAP projects. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design. Key Responsibilities: Discovery Phase: - Lead workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and objectives. - Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and identify gaps and areas for improvement. - Prepare and present high-level project plans, timelines, and resource requirements. - Develop a detailed understanding of the business landscape and project scope. Explore Phase: - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system designs. - Facilitate blueprinting sessions to map out processes and define the future state of SAP S/4HANA CPM. - Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify necessary customizations and enhancements. - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Stakeholder Engagement: - Act as the Commercial Project Management (CPM) primary point of contact for business stakeholders during the Discovery and Explore phases. - Provide expert guidance and recommendations based on best practices and industry standards. - Communicate effectively with project sponsors, steering committees, and end-users to ensure alignment and buy-in. - Documentation and Reporting: - Develop comprehensive documentation, including business process documents, functional specifications, and support project plan development. - Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and stored appropriately. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 7-9 years of experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management and SAP Project Systems. - Proven experience in the Discovery and Explore phases of SAP S/4HANA projects. - Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management (CPM) and Project Systems (PS) modules. Skills: - Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and CPM configuration and integration. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong project management skills with a focus on early project phases. - Exceptional communication and facilitation skills. - Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and manage expectations. Certifications: - SAP S/4HANA Commercial Project Management certification - PMP or other project management certification Primarily Remote with occasional onsite meetings. Candidates can be based in the US or Canada. Top 3 Mandatory skills Deep Knowledge of SAP CPM: Proficiency in configuring and customizing the SAP Commercial Project Management module, including functionalities such as project planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost and revenue management, and reporting. Understanding of SAP S/4HANA: Familiarity with the broader SAP S/4HANA or other ERP System, ensuring seamless integration of SAP CPM with other modules like Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials or Inventory Management (MM/IM). Implementation Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP CPM implementation projects, including gathering requirements, blueprinting, testing, and go-live support.
