If you have any resumes please send it to [email protected] Position: Machine Learning Engineer Locations: ATL , NYC or Orlando FL Hybrid NOTE: Financial Domain is preferable We're on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced senior data scientist to lead the delivery of Generative AI solutions at the Citi Innovation Lab. We need someone who's not just knowledgeable but hands-on, with a track record in data science, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Understanding, and Generation. In this role, you'll be a key player in driving innovative projects throughout the bank using generative AI and Large Language Models. Your mission To work closely with our business partners and stakeholders to introduce and embrace these advanced technologies. Your goal will be to elevate client experiences, provide value to our customers, and ensure we meet our regulatory commitments using the most cutting-edge technology solutions available. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the Generative AI team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Use Case Identification: Work closely with various business units and stakeholders to identify and scope potential use cases for Generative AI within the organization. Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for generative AI research and development, aligning it with the bank's overall goals and objectives. Research and Development: Lead and participate in research activities to explore and advance state-of-the-art generative AI techniques, including GANs, VAEs, and other relevant technologies. Patent Filing: Take an active role in identifying innovative ideas and overseeing the filing of patents to protect intellectual property generated by the Generative AI team. Monitoring Ongoing Research: Stay actively engaged in monitoring ongoing research efforts, keeping abreast of emerging trends, and ensuring that the Generative AI team remains at the forefront of the field. Product Integration: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate generative AI technologies into our products and services. Quality Control: Ensure the quality and performance of generative AI models, conducting rigorous testing and evaluation. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders across the bank to drive the adoption of generative AI and Large Language Models, identifying opportunities for innovation and value creation. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that AI initiatives meet regulatory requirements while pushing the boundaries of technology innovation. Budget Management: ensure that projects are delivered on budget and to plan. External Partnerships: engage with external start-ups and research providers to ensure that we use the correct and best technology. Qualifications: Ph.D., masters or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, etc.). 10 years+ experience in Machine Learning, delivering complex solutions to production. Proven hands-on experience in data science and Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Natural Language Generation (NLG). Strong proven delivery track record. In-depth knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other open sources libraries / APIs or similar. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Publications and contributions to the AI research community are a plus.
