| Need Local to Florida Business Analyst - TALLAHASSEE, FL LOCATION: TALLAHASSEE, FL - PAY RATE: $50hr Virtual interview 1 years plus No H1B,CPT,OPT Need three references Education Requirements: Bachelors or masters degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement. Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid business/systems analysis experience and involvement in software development projects is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired. Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code, is highly desired. Experience with data migration. Knowledge of change and release management is highly desired. Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) systems and applications. Primary Job Duties & Tasks: Research and understand FDOT business processes and their inter-relationships. Research and document impacts on agency business systems in relation to the PALM implementation. Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units. Gather and document business and technical requirements. Coordinate with data migration and development teams. Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements. Develop Test Plans and Test Cases. Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts. Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards. Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Business Analysis: Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling. Proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Visio. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is highly desired. System Analysis & Design: Ability to perform System Analysis & Design using various modeling methodologies and techniques. Facilitation: Expertise in facilitating workshops and meetings with stakeholders. Technical Understanding: Technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices and techniques. Project Management: Knowledge of State of Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1. Ability to apply principles and techniques from the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Additional Skills: Advanced skills with Microsoft products: SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Project. Ability to relate to stakeholders needs, document their requirements, and perform duties in the absence of staff. Ability to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective work relationships with others.
