General Responsibilities: Our Client is looking to engage an experienced, professional, Azure/AWS Cloud Architect to assist and guide them throughout the design, setup, implementation, and performance monitoring of Cloud Migration Programs. Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprises overall systems cloud architecture. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting, documenting, and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise. Reviews, advises, and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs vs. benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprises Cloud Architecture needs. Responsible for providing technical expertise in deploying applications on Microsoft Azure & AWS. The Azure/AWS Cloud Administrator. An ideal candidate will. Mandatory Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years of IT and business work experience including leading developers in systems analysis and/or programming functions. 8+ years experience in MS Azure/AWS cloud architecture Experience and understanding of the main Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) Must be self-motivated and apply knowledge of Azure & AWS to drive solutions, support the development team, and create documentation to support and describe technical solutions. Must have deep technical Azure/AWS platform expertise and demonstrate high standards of accountability, customer focus, and quality. Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field (Or equivalent work experience) Certifications (required): Microsoft Azure/AWS Administrator Microsoft Azure/AWS Architect Technologies Certificates (preferred): MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure) MCSD (Solutions Architect) Required Personal Skills: Willingness to go above and beyond. Azure/AWS Application Gateways Azure/AWS Testing & Backup Azure/AWS Infrastructure & Design Azure/AWS virtual networks Azure/AWS Storage Azure/AWS SQL Azure/AWS Documentation Disaster Recovery Deploy the Custom-Developed Applications and continuously monitor their health. Forecast and manage the demand for the applications that are hosted on the Azure/AWS platform. Ensure that Data is secured, access is secured, costs are monitored and controlled, and the applications and data are backed up. Deploy and maintain PaaS & SaaS enterprise application for development, QA, staging, and production environments hosted on cloud infrastructure. Understanding of a multitude of resources and services such as containers, virtual machines, storage, firewalls, network security groups, web application firewalls, vnets, log analytics, sentinel, monitoring, alerting, metrics, Data Factory, Databricks, Active Directory, Data Catalog, Web Apps, Functions, Application Service Environments, Key Vaults, Backups.
