Role:-Business Analyst Location:-Onsite in Austin, TX Duration:-6+ months contract Essential Duties Assist with CAPPS financial issues related to TDA's FY 2024 implementation. Close FY 2022-2024 in CAPPS and write procedures for year-end close and rollover. Manage the CAPPS Asset Management module's year-end close and depreciation process. Evaluate statewide GL and Trial Balance reports to determine if they meet TDA's needs, or develop CAPPS reports (e.g., Business Objects and Query Manager) to fulfill these requirements. Correct errors in CAPPS budget reports created by the CPA for TDA. Collaborate with TDA staff to reconcile USAS and CAPPS activity monthly in the most efficient manner. Write procedures for the CAPPS month-end close process. Work independently and coordinate with TDA staff to perform a variety of complex tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude. Requirements: 8yrs - Required - Minimum 8 years of experience in performing the essential functions, including experience with USAS and CAPPS Financials systems. 8yrs - Preferred - USAS and CAPPS and IT Implementations, and state budget and accounting processes 1yr - Preferred - Staff Baseline Requirements: Attend scheduled meetings, Meet deadlines, Organize and manage assigned tasks, Work efficiently and effectively in performance of essential functions. Work hours and location: Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Department of Agriculture. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at : Stephen F.
