Role :- Senior Technical - SAP ABAP Developer ( Hybrid 4 days onsite 1 day wfh) Location :- HQ at Houston, TX - Client is located near the Energy Corridor (ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATE) Duration:- 6+ Months About the Opportunity Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical SAP ABAP Developer to join their team for a 6-month contract at a Fortune 500 oil and gas client, CITGO Petroleum Corp, located near the Energy Corridor in Houston, TX. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain complex ABAP programs for FI (Finance), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the SAP system. Enhance existing functionalities and develop new functionalities within the SAP system. Collaborate with business analysts and other technical developers. Document code and maintain clear technical documentation. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP developer. Experience in one or more of the following modules: FI, MM, SD (a plus). Strong understanding of ABAP concepts including ABAP workbench, Data Dictionary, Classes, ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, Module-pool programming, Forms Development, LSMW, RFCs, BAPIs, BDCs, user exits, BADIs, enhancement spots, Interface programming, Job Scheduling, and ALV Reports. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. US Citizen, Green Card holder, Green Card EAD, or E3 Visa holder (no sponsorship provided). Must be local to the Houston, TX area (no relocation assistance). Ability to work onsite at the client location 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.
