Job Title: Sr. Software Developer (C#/.Net) Job Location: Hartford, CT (100%- ONSITE) Duration: Long Term Contract Interview: Telephonic & Zoom/Skype Job Overview This is primarily SQL Server, and C# development and support role. Your work will focus on the distribution areas including Sales, Marketing, and business intelligence. Youll work with technology leaders, generating new ideas to support, maintain, improve, and modernize the business and technology. We work from high level requests and requirements, and developers are expected to have a deep understanding of the business and its needs. We strive for an environment where people have the autonomy to pursue technical solutions without arbitrary constraints. A growth/learning mindset to continuously improve our techniques and tools is critical. Experience working in asset management, as is several years experience in a heavily SQL Server, and C# development environment. Youll ensure project status is transparent and up-to-date, documentation is created and maintained, and knowledge transfer occurs in a timely fashion. Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD) is important. Expectations: Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a priority. Detail-oriented, concise, transparent. Support, maintain, enhance, and develop software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company, focusing on testability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Provide support during business hours and after hours/on-call as designated. Collaborate with team and senior IT management to drive projects to completion. Perform development duties using the following requirements: Work in an Agile environment in Azure DevOps (Pipelines, GitHub, Boards, Wiki, Test Plans, etc.). Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS. Microsoft .NET Console applications. Tidal as an enterprise scheduler, but UC4, Autosys, ActiveBatch, etc., will suffice. Experience with at Asset Management sales, marketing, and distribution is required. Experience with at least one CRM preferably Salesforce. Requires 5 days in-office in Hartford, CT. Desired Experience: 7+ years of SQL Server, SSIS, and C# development and support experience in an asset management firm with consummate business knowledge. 3+ years experience in the Sales and Marketing domain. Experience with the following is preferred, but not mandatory: Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Automate, etc.). Bachelors degree in computer science, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
