Job Title: Workday Support Consultant Location: Any Geo where the resource can support the work in US (EST) Time Zone Duration: 6-8 months project to start with Location: Remote Job Summary: The Workday Support Consultant will provide technical and functional support to our internal team using the Workday platform. This role involves troubleshooting issues, offering solutions, and ensuring the optimal performance of the Workday system. The ideal candidate will deeply understand Workday modules and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities for Workday Support Consultant: System Support and Maintenance: Provide comprehensive support for Workday applications. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality. Perform regular system health checks and maintenance activities, including applying updates and patches. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical and functional issues reported by end-users. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address complex problems and ensure timely resolution. Document and track issues using a ticketing system, providing clear and detailed updates. Client Interaction and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication and expectations effectively. Provide guidance and support to clients on Workday functionalities, configurations, and best practices. Conduct regular check-ins with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the system. Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users, focusing on system navigation, features, and troubleshooting. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting manuals. Update training materials as needed to reflect system changes and enhancements. System Configuration and Optimization: Assist with the configuration of Workday modules to meet client requirements and business processes. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Work with implementation teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful go-live events. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams, such as implementation consultants, developers, and project managers, to deliver seamless support. Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and updates on system performance and client feedback. Contribute to the development of support processes and best practices. Reporting and Analytics: Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for clients. Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Support clients in understanding and utilizing Workdays reporting capabilities. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest Workday features, updates, and best practices. Participate in training sessions, webinars, and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Share knowledge and expertise with team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Compliance and Security: Ensure that Workday configurations and processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain security and privacy of sensitive data, adhering to best practices and organizational guidelines. Assist in the development and enforcement of data governance policies. Project Participation: Support implementation projects by providing technical and functional expertise. Participate in testing activities, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT). Assist with project planning, execution, and post-implementation support. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Response and resolution time for support tickets. Client satisfaction and feedback scores. System uptime and performance metrics. Accuracy and timeliness of documentation and training materials. Number of successfully resolved issues and implemented improvements. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience required. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
