Position: MDG ABAP Developer Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Duration : 12+ months with extension Responsibilities: Responsibilities: MDG Development: Develop and maintain Master Data Governance solutions leveraging SAP MDG framework. ALV Expertise: Design and implement ALV reports for displaying and analyzing master data in SAP systems. BAPI Integration: Integrate MDG processes with other SAP modules and external systems using BAPIs for seamless data exchange. BADI Implementation: Customize and enhance MDG functionalities using Business Add-Ins to meet specific business requirements. Scripting: Utilize scripting languages (such as JavaScript) to automate data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes within MDG. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose effective MDG solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications, design documents, and test plans. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of MDG applications to ensure high quality and reliability. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for MDG applications, addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to users and team members on MDG best practices, techniques, and tools. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum X years of experience in SAP MDG development and implementation. Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP technologies. Strong understanding of ALV, BAPI, and BADI concepts and their integration with SAP MDG. Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.) for data manipulation and automation. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. SAP MDG certification (preferred). Experience in Agile development methodologies (desired).
