Equivalent work experience may be considered on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the degree. Experience: Mandatory: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Tibco Mainframe Focus or WebFocus. Preferred: Experience with MS Power BI. Primary Job Duties & Tasks: 1. Analyze and Document Existing Programs and Reports: o Examine current Focus programs and WebFocus reports. o Document specifications and functionalities for these programs and reports. 2. Develop Remediation Strategies: O Collaborate with management to formulate strategies for updating and remediating all Focus programs and reports. 3. Improve Reports Based on Business Needs: o Evaluate existing reports. o Work with business users to identify and implement improvements based on current business requirements. 4. Convert Queries to T-SQL: o Read and document queries from WebFocus and Mainframe Focus. o Translate these queries into T-SQL queries. 5. Create Database Views and Procedures: o Collaborate with database administrators to develop database views and stored procedures. o Support the remediation process for WebFocus reports. 6. Update Focus Programs: o Modify Focus programs to reflect chart of account changes mandated by Florida PALM. 7. Update WebFocus Reports: o Adjust WebFocus reports to incorporate chart of account changes mandated by Florida PALM. 8. Convert Mainframe Programs to Database Tables: o Transition Focus mainframe programs that utilize mainframe flat files to use database tables instead. 9. Financial Data Analysis and Recommendations: o Analyze financial data. o Provide recommendations to improve the financial systems' data models. 10. WebFocus Environment Administration: o Manage the WebFocus environment specifically for the dedicated PALM remediation. 11. Knowledge Transfer: o Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with the technical staff of the Office of the Comptroller.
