Please let me know if you are interested in the position below Title: Software Test Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC(Onsite) Duration : 6+ months contract Max Rate: $45/hr on c2c/1099 Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT Job Description: About the job Responsibilities : Design and execute comprehensive test plans for full stack software, encompassing cloud and web, mobile, and general software components. Conduct thorough testing to ensure reliability, security, and performance of medical device software across multiple platforms. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression, system, functional, and integration testing. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including FDA guidelines and IEC 62304, throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance processes aligning with medical device industry standards. Work closely with software developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to understand software requirements and contribute to test strategies. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, issues, and solutions. Identify, document, and track software defects, providing detailed information for developers and stakeholders. Generate comprehensive test reports for management, highlighting testing results, issues, and recommendations. Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Produce required documentation deliverables within software development plans for compliance with software process and regulatory requirements. Estimate software quality and test-related tasks within a project, leading the software test team to complete projects on time and within budget. Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to software quality and test engineering staff. Required Experience and Skills: 8+ years of software testing experience, with a focus on full stack testing for medical devices. Proven experience in software testing, with familiarity with automated testing frameworks, particularly Selenium or Appium. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (i.e., Selenium, Appium, Jest, Cucumber, and/or Robot, or other similar tools). Experience with writing and reviewing unit tests in Jasmine, Mocha, NUnit, JUnit, Jest, or other similar tools. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices, including FDA guidelines and IEC 62304. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Certification in software testing (i.e., ISTQB). Experience with cloud-based technologies and web services. Familiarity with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms. Experience in Agile development methodologies.
