Role- Network Engineer with Strong Google Cloud VMware Engine Location- 100%Remote Visa- No H1B, OPT,CPT Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer specializing in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure with a strong focus on GCVE. This role will involve working closely with our cloud engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and security of our virtualized environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities: Design and Implementation : Architect, deploy, and manage network solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. Network Management : Maintain and optimize network infrastructure within the GCVE environment, including virtual networks, firewalls, and load balancers. Integration and Migration : Lead and support the migration of on-premises VMware workloads to GCVE, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Security and Compliance : Implement and enforce security policies and compliance measures within the GCVE framework, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Performance Monitoring : Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability. Documentation and Training : Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, developers, and IT operations, to support and enhance the overall cloud infrastructure. Innovation : Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in GCVE and cloud networking technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to improve and innovate. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering. At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine. Technical Skills : Proficiency in designing and managing network infrastructures using GCVE. Strong understanding of VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX). Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and architecture. Experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Certifications : Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer, VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), or similar are highly desirable. Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues. Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required. Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills: Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Understanding of DevOps practices and tools. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
