From: john, Vaaridatech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position Title: ServiceNow Developer with ITIL Expertise Location: CA Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) to join our IT Service Management team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, combined with expertise in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions to improve and automate our IT services.Key Responsibilities: ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. Implement workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, and other ServiceNow configurations. Create and maintain API integrations between ServiceNow and other systems. ITIL Process Implementation: Utilize ITIL best practices to design and improve ITSM processes, such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and Configuration Management. Ensure that ITSM processes align with business needs and improve service delivery. System Administration: Perform routine ServiceNow maintenance tasks, such as upgrades, patching, and performance tuning. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations. Monitor system performance and optimize as necessary. User Support and Training: Provide training and support to ServiceNow users, including the creation of user guides and documentation. Assist in onboarding new users and troubleshooting user issues. Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions within timelines. Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage and deliver project tasks. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and generate ServiceNow reports and dashboards to provide insights into ITSM performance and trends. Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer. Strong background in ITIL and IT Service Management processes. Proven experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required. ITIL Foundation Certification required. Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ITIL Practitioner) are a plus. Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other ITSM tools and platforms. Knowledge of additional ITIL processes and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 20000). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Business Management (ITBM) modules.
