Work closely with business analysts and designers to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Leverage WebSphere Commerce APIs and tools to achieve desired functionalities. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to WebSphere Commerce functionality and customization. Stay up-to-date on the latest WebSphere Commerce features and updates. Maintain and enhance existing WebSphere Commerce codebase. May participate in unit and integration testing of developed features. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in developing and customizing e-commerce applications using IBM WebSphere Commerce. Proven experience with WebSphere Commerce versions 7, 8, and 9. In-depth knowledge of WebSphere Commerce architecture, components, and sub-systems (e.g., order management, catalog, member management). Strong understanding of Java and J2EE principles. Experience with XML, JSP, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript). Familiarity with web development best practices and security considerations. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
