At least 3 years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects that are high-profile and fast-paced involving system interfaces and the development of new system interfaces and with California Department of Technology (CDT) oversight Bachelors degree and a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) 2 years of experience managing projects with CDT oversight. 2 years of experience working with an IV&V consultant in large-scale systems development, integration, and/or operational projects. 2 years of experience and knowledge utilizing CDTs California Project Management Framework and the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL). 2 years of experience and knowledge of the software development life cycle for planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. Experience using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint) to run meetings, create project schedules, develop workflows, prepare presentations, and produce status reports. Experience leading IT cross-functional project teams/resources in a matrixed environment, in all aspects of project management from initiation to closing. Desired qualifications:- Experience facilitating meetings, preparing and giving presentations to senior-level executives for decision-making. Experience with implementation or go-live activities in healthcare/IT Projects. Possesses broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying project management principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools on one or more complex IT project(s) in a healthcare/correctional environment using an electronic health records system. Knowledge and experience working as a project manager in an environment that uses an electronic health records system. Demonstrates experience managing multiple concurrent projects. Knowledge and experience working with electronic data sharing. Working knowledge with health record system business process analysis, planning and assessment, cost-benefit analysis, financial management, planning and evaluation, project management, quality assurance, requirements analysis, and risk management. Experience with Medi-CAL or billing/claim processing systems.
