| Job Title: Senior Reporting Business Analyst(BI Analyst) Location: Houston TX (Onsite) Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst and Reporting Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical expertise in various data tools and languages, and a deep understanding of the Energy Retail industry. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting: oDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. oUtilize DAX, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and other tools to create insightful data visualizations. oPerform data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes. oConduct data reconciliation and aggregation to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Business Intelligence & Data Management: oImplement and manage business intelligence (BI) solutions. oUtilize PL/SQL, T-SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server for query optimization. oMonitor quantitative and qualitative data to support business strategies. Industry-Specific Expertise: oApply knowledge of CES Blue (Customized Energy Solutions) in the Energy Retail space. oStay updated on Energy Retail industry regulations and best practices. oProvide insights and recommendations based on Energy retail industry trends and regulatory changes. Business Analysis & Requirements Definition: oCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements. oDocument and communicate requirements clearly and comprehensively. oIdentify and analyze business processes for improvement opportunities. Agile Methodologies: oParticipate in Agile project management processes. oWork collaboratively in Agile teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in DAX, Microsoft Power BI, and SSRS. Strong SQL skills including T-SQL and PL/SQL. Experience with ETL processes and data management. Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of CES Blue and the Energy Retail industry. Experience in both quantitative and qualitative data monitoring, and strong ability to conduct data reconciliation and aggregation. Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, and Oracle. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Python. Experience with version control systems like GIT. Understanding of Power Automate and Azure Data Services. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Reporting Analyst role. Minimum of 5 years experience working in Energy Retail domain.
