The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP programming with a specific focus on Human Resources (HR) modules. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom ABAP solutions to support and enhance HR processes within the SAP environment. Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development: Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms specifically for SAP HR modules. HR Process Optimization: Collaborate with HR business analysts and functional teams to understand HR business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement technical solutions. System Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between SAP HR and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ABAP-related issues within the HR module. Address performance issues and ensure the stability and reliability of SAP HR systems. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all custom developments and configurations. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR functional consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all developments adhere to SAP best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Extensive experience with SAP HR modules (e.g., PA, OM, PY, PT). Proven experience in developing and supporting SAP HR-specific enhancements and interfaces. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP. Experience with SAP HR-specific tools and technologies (e.g., HR Infotypes, HR Forms, ESS/MSS). Knowledge of SAP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs relevant to HR. Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex HR business processes and develop effective technical solutions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: SAP ABAP and HR-related certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Preferred Attributes: In-depth knowledge of SAP PA (Personnel Administration), OM (Organizational Management), PY (Payroll), and PT (Personnel Time Management). Experience in handling HR master data and HR reporting. Understanding of HR legal and regulatory requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
