Job Title-Embedded Software Engineer Location-Pella, IA (45miles from Des Moines, IA) Hybrid role Local Visa-Any visa except H1B, CPT, OPT Duration-6 To 12 months Mode of Interview-Phone/Skype Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or other Engineering field with an emphasis on embedded software with eight years direct and applicable work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced mechanical and/or hydraulic aptitude to develop advanced machine functions. Expertise in embedded software programming languages, such as C, C++ or Qt. Proficient in any of the following: Artificial Intelligence, Continuous Improvement, Robotics, Machine Learning, DEVOPS (Continuous Integration/Deployment), Machine Automation. Leadership in designing control systems specifically for off-road vehicles, utilizing CAN (Controller Area Network) and J1939 protocols. Accomplished in model-based design tools including, Matlab/Simulink and/or Danfoss Plus+1 Guide. Proficient in design, test, and implementation of HMI (Human Machine Interface) and Virtual Instrument components and controls. Experienced at analyzing, developing, and writing specifications that align with stakeholder needs. Skilled with electronic circuits, microcontroller architectures, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and principles of operation. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
