The Testing Project Manager manages the Workday testing efforts and test phases that include the planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of tests results to ensure that quality standards are met. Managing the testing activities to ensure that testing aligns with project scope, goals, and objectives. Key responsibilities include but not inclusive to the following: works closely with testing teams, development teams, and other stakeholders to manage testing projects from initiation to completion. Knows the project scope, testing phases, and test cycles. Responsible for Creating Test Strategy and Test Plans. Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. Monitor and control project progress to ensure timely delivery. Responsible for project level documentation (i.e., status reports, RAID logs, project plans, etc). Manage the resolution of testing issues, roadblocks, and escalation. Collaborates with the Test Coordinator, Business Analyst/Functional Testers to create test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Responsible for defining the test reporting and metrics. Tracks and reports test progress and metrics. Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns applications. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures. Responsible for testing issue management and resolution. Ensure that all testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices. Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and timelines. Works as a liaison and develops mitigation strategies and contingency plans to effectively manage risk. Obtain Sign off on Test Results.
