Role: .NET Developer with Oracle DB Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: HBITS-05-13438 Client: NY State Description Act as Senior Software Developer working for NYS Information Technology Services on behalf of the NYS Department of Transportation to fulfill the duties as described below. Duties Primarily responsible for Supporting and Maintaining .NET applications. Assist with modernizing MS Access Database applications written in MS Access, to other technologies (Oracle, MS SQL, Java). Manage and develop data extracts and reporting. Perform system testing and development of testing plans, presentation of training, and planning /execution of large enterprise data systems and applications. Handle business and technical design, and determine optimum solutions to meet business objectives. Implement features and functionality to meet new agency business requirements. Technical troubleshooting on complex issues that span enterprise systems and multiple data sources requiring rapid resolution. Implementation of new applications and modernization of existing. Use a ticketing system to track and manage incidents, service requests, problems, changes, and release/deployment. Support off-hours application testing and emergency response efforts in response to critical outages. Candidates will assume an on-call status during emergency activation of the command center (STICC). Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 72 months experience working with Agency/business subject matter experts to understand business needs/requirements, Vendors of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, and IT teams to determine and design application and system requirements. 72 months experience developing mission critical applications using .NET C#, Angular, MVC, Linq, HTML5, CSS and RESTful webservices. 72 months experience utilizing Open ID Connect using OAuth Authorization flow, including the use of PKCE and SAML v2.0 72 months experience implementing DevOps pipelines using Git, Jenkins and OpenShift.
