This positions technical expertise in Power Platform development and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders will contribute to the successful implementation and utilization of solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity for over 1,100 NC local government units. Essential Functions: Providing vital and timely support using MS 365 Power Platform & Office to design, develop, test, modify, implement, secure, and maintain current and future SLGFD systems in test and production environments using product areas such as: o PowerApps/Dataverse (model-driven & canvas) o PowerPages (user experience, forms, list connectivity logic and process) o PowerAutomate (custom alerts, integrations, and workflows) o Third-party applications and database integrations (SQL, SharePoint, external partner data) o SharePoint (lists, metadata, Portal submissions, custom JSON, site permissions) o Teams (store files, communicate, and keep project artifacts accessible to division) o OneNote (capture, organize and share documentation with all relevant users) Analyze, define, estimate, and document work levels of effort. Respond to critical or changing priorities. Participate in discovery sessions to understand and document the customers technical and business requirements necessary for successful completion of projects. Experience to ensure user requests for information are documented, addressed, and follow up occurs. Qualifications/Requirements This position will work onsite daily in Raleigh, North Carolina. Execution of all NC security agreements. Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, including comprehensive requirements gathering, high level and detailed systems design, agile development practices, QA testing outcomes and dependencies, and production monitoring and maintenance operations. Familiarity with data integration, particularly between Power Apps and Power Automate with Dataverse and SharePoint. Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues with existing tools built on MS 365 platforms. Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail. Must have the ability to communicate technical as well as non-technical information clearly, both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences. Strong and documented experience engaging with business owners to identify and document requirements and to support deployed solutions.
