Administering server and desktop virtualization technology, including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V. Responsibilities and Tasks Provide IT system, hardware, and software support for various IT systems. Provide support, management and installation services for desktop and server operating systems such as Microsoft Server. Manage administer virtualization platforms such as VMware. Perform other related duties as assigned by MDTA Division of Information Technology management. Substitution of Experience for Education Substitution of experience for education may be permitted at the discretion of the State. Substitution of Professional Certificates for Experience: Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, SQL Certified Database Administrator) may be substituted for up to two (2) years for general and specialized experience at the discretion of the State.
