The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and quality assurance, with a keen ability to automate testing processes. As a Senior SDET Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated tests, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage and robust software quality. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing and deployment processes. Test Strategy and Planning: Define and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules for new and existing software features. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test cases, and provide feedback on product quality and usability. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure that testability and quality are considered during the development process. Performance Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the software can handle anticipated usage scenarios. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the software, providing detailed reports and working with the development team to resolve issues. Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior SDET engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the team. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 Years of experience in software testing and automation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior team members. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or others.
