Job Description: IT Infra Network Engineer Onsite - Santa Clara, CA BGV must be fully cleared What are the top 3 skills required for this role 1. Should be able to speak English & Spanish 2. Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol, DNS, DHCP and data centre cabling (1G/10G/25G/40G/100G/200G) 3. Knowledge (sense) of IT data security, LAN (e.g. 802.1q trunking, MLAG, spanning-tree) and VLAN segmentation Job Description/ Responsibilities Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a large-scale, multi-site, international environment. Some design experience is also a requirement. Strong background in Networking (Layer 2 Ethernet switching/forwarding, Multicast, Layer 3 Switching/Routing/VxLAN) and Data Center virtualization WAN circuits and Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP, PIM Multicast) Experience on the latest hardware and operating systems (IOS-XR, NX-OS, EOS, Junos, Arista and Mellanox, Cumulus) Experience in inter-AS connectivity (eBGP, MPLS, eVPN, VRF) Experience in Data Center fabrics and corresponding technologies like VxLAN, BGP EVPN Hands on experience in using Arista Cloud Vision products like CVP, CVA and CVX High Availability protocols and Global Server Load Balancing technologies Next generation Firewalls( Palo alto), install, support and maintain the Palo Alto suite(PA-3XXX,5XXX,VM-100, M-100,M-500) of products. The Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, Maintenance and enhancement of security infrastructure systems and equipment. Understanding Cisco VPN ( Stateful firewalls, SSL, Splt tunnel etc.) and work experience in CISCO ASA/ Firepower Knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity management Experience in Citrix NetScaler Load balancers all types of VServers and F5 (GTM) Good knowledge on Capture pcap on Citrix NetScaler and analyze logs Experience on SDWAN, DHCP, DNS & Linux Experience / hands on with automation - Python/Salt stack professional networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) is plus.
