| Role: Data Scientist 4 - (738504) Location: Chesterfield, VA Rate: $70/hr on c2c Job Description: Virginia State Police (VSP) is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with 6+years of experience performing complex data analysis and creating management and statistical reports for the Criminal and Rap Back Information System (CRIS) project. The incumbent will perform complex data research and analysis for CRIS, and creates data to support system testing including interface testing. The incumbent will serve as the Team Leader for two teams a test data team and a Microsoft Power BI reports team. The incumbent will collaborate with CRIS suppliers, interface partners, the VSP Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Information Technology (IT) Divisions to extract, scrub, pre-position and utilize test data in coordination with test plans and activities. The incumbent will coordinate test data management with the VSP Information Security Officer (ISO).
