Desktop Support Analyst

Location: 

5 days on-site in Greenwich, CT.

MUST BE USC/GC

MUST HAVE: capital markets, investment/asset management experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will handle various technical support tasks including onboarding/offboarding processes, managing mobile devices, software rollouts, and general operational support. This role involves working closely with the IT Manager on several key projects and providing excellent customer service to internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding/Offboarding:

Set up new user accounts and workstations.

Deactivate accounts and securely remove access for departing employees.

Mobile Device Management:

Support and manage iPhones using Intune and MobileIron.

Office 365 (O365):

Administer and support Office 365 applications and services.

Hardware Support:

Provide support for Lenovo laptops and desktops.

Manage laptop upgrades and rollouts.

Service Now:

Use Service Now for managing and resolving IT tickets.

Bloomberg Terminals:

Provide support for Bloomberg Terminal setups and issues.

Communication Tools:

Support and troubleshoot ZOOM, Webex, and Slack.

Projects and Operational Support:

On-prem Phone Migrations:

Assist with migrating on-premises phone systems.

Desktop Upgrades/Moves:

Coordinate and implement desktop upgrades and office moves.

Windows 10 to 11 Migration:

Play a key role in migrating workstations from Windows 10 to 11 (preferred experience).

Autopilot Rollout:

Assist in rolling out Windows Autopilot for device deployment and management.

General Operational Support:

Provide day-to-day technical support to staff.

Assist the IT Manager with various operational tasks and projects.

Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure.
