Please let me know if you are interested in the position below Title: Azure Security Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid, Local Candidate Needed) Duration: 6+ Months MOI: F2F/Video Visa: No H1B/CPT Job Description Responsibilities of the Azure Security Engineer: Develop, test, and deploy Azure Security Controls across the firms Azure tenants working with technology such as Azure Policy, Azure Logging, Azure Runbooks, and Terraform. Provide security recommendations and solutions for migrating new applications in the environment to Azure. Work closely with vendors and partner squads to develop, deploy, and test Cloud security services. Respond promptly to Azure Cloud security drifts and work with stakeholders to remediate the drifts. Integrate, configure, document, and deploy compliant infrastructure and supporting services in the Cloud platform. Requirements for the Azure Security Engineer: Knowledge of the Shared Responsibility Model; understanding of the security risks inherent in hosting cloud-based applications and data. Experience developing across the security assurance lifecycle (prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls). Experience configuring Azure native security tooling and capabilities such as Azure Policy, Azure Logging, and Azure Monitor. Experience with event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure (Azure Function, Automation Runbook, Logic App). Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform. Familiarity with standard Azure security tooling such as Microsoft Defender Suite and Sentinel.
