Locals only for DC, Washington Position: Crystal Reports Developer/Analyst Location: Washington, DC (metro accessible) Duration: 12 Months + Hybrid: Onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays The team is seeking a Techno Functional Analyst with Asset Management/Portfolio Performance and Risk background to help analyze initiatives that involve report analysis and data cataloguing. The candidate should have prior experience in Finance domain with a concentration on asset management. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Proven experience with Crystal Reports and SQL able to move data and provide reporting. Strong understanding of Oracle DB and underlying logic. Experience with Power BI and Azure cloud a big plus. Experience and knowledge of Capital and Investment Markets. Ability to technically explore the databases/programs in-place. Ability to interact with clients and document the current business processes/reports. Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires flexibility and initiative. Candidates should be self-starters who enjoys working with an international team of people. Candidates must be able to multi-task their workload assignments. Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English, have strong writing and communication skills, and be team players. The candidate will be responsible for completion of assigned duties and report to the BA Lead. The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions: Must be able to independently review the current data model in-place. Analyze data in the reports to understand them in conjunction to the data model and document the data catalogue at the entity attribute level. Once the data points are catalogued, put in place a tracking mechanism to verify that these data points are addressed in the future solution. Work with the Lead BA and Technical team to design the future state and data conversion methodology and plan to address historical/future data/reporting needs. Liaise with staff, specifically with the Lead Business Analyst. Use communication skills to work with end users in analyzing the reporting details. Use analytical skills to learn our users business processes, document the data and process models and troubleshoot and maintain existing applications. Document the processes/data required for building the reports on a data management system. Perform data analysis as needed and document the calculations performed in a report. () Thanks and Regards!!
