Strong experience with Linux shell scripting (Bash, Shell). Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing - Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases. - Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. - Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing. - Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and functionality. Automation Testing - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Linux shell scripting. - Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report issues. - Enhance and optimize existing test automation frameworks. - Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing. Linux Shell Scripting - Write and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance testing processes. - Perform system administration tasks to support testing environments. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scripts and automation tools. System Hardware and Software Test Setup & Integration - Set up and configure hardware and software environments for testing. - Ensure all necessary components and dependencies are installed and properly configured. - Integration of the H/W & S/W - Maintain and troubleshoot test environments to ensure smooth testing processes. Network Configuration and Traffic Simulation - Configure and manage network settings to simulate various testing scenarios. - Use tools to simulate network traffic and test network-related functionalities. - Diagnose and resolve network issues impacting the testing environment. Test Script Generation and Execution - Generate or utilize existing test scripts to conduct tests as per documented procedures. - Ensure all test procedures are followed accurately and results are documented properly. - Report on the status of tests and any issues encountered during execution. Collaboration and Reporting - Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Provide weekly/daily status reports on activities. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
