| Role GCP Infra Architect Location Onsite (Hartford, CT) Type of Hire Contract Duration 6 Months Job Description GCP Infra Architect Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP using infrastructure as a service (IaaS) Migrate on-premises infrastructure and applications to GCP, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Manage and optimize GCP resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible. Configure and manage GCP networking components, including VPCs, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, and firewalls. Implement security best practices for GCP. Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure issues, proactively identify potential problems, and implement solutions. Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions. Stay up to date on the latest GCP offerings and technologies, continuously improving your knowledge and skills. Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures Requirements 12-18 years overall experience 5+ years of GCP experience Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or related certifications Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS concepts. Experience with GCP core services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and Cloud IAM. Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
