Atlanta, GA (Onsite) We are seeking an experienced SAP HR/HCM with ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions within the SAP HR/HCM environment, utilizing ABAP programming. This role requires a deep understanding of both the functional aspects of SAP HR/HCM modules and the technical expertise in ABAP development to meet the evolving needs of our business. Key Responsibilities Custom Development: Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, user exits, BADIs, enhancement points, and workflows specific to SAP HR/HCM. System Integration: Develop and manage integration points between SAP HR/HCM and other SAP/non-SAP systems using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and web services. Module Configuration: Collaborate with HR teams to configure and customize SAP HR/HCM modules including Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (TM), Payroll, and Personnel Development (PD). Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for SAP HR/HCM applications. Address and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize ABAP code to enhance the performance and efficiency of SAP HR/HCM solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all custom developments and configurations. Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and business users to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users to foster knowledge transfer and skill development. Data Management: Oversee data migration processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during system upgrades or implementations. Compliance: Ensure all developments and customizations adhere to industry standards, SAP best practices, and company policies. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP HR/HCM module development and support. Extensive hands-on experience with ABAP programming in the context of SAP HR/HCM. Proven track record of developing and implementing custom solutions within SAP HR/HCM. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ABAP programming, including the use of user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs. Strong understanding of SAP HR/HCM modules such as OM, PA, TM, Payroll, and PD. Experience with SAP Workflow and integration technologies. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to analyze complex business requirements and develop effective technical solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate in ABAP and/or SAP HR/HCM certification. Advanced Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5, understanding of SAP HANA, and familiarity with SuccessFactors integration.
