Design and implement Elasticsearch clusters to support high-performance search functionality. 2. Develop custom scripts and plugins to enhance the capabilities of Elasticsearch using Java and JavaScript. 3. Configure and manage data ingestion pipelines to ensure efficient indexing of data. 4. Monitor and optimize the performance of Elasticsearch clusters to meet SLA requirements. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Elasticsearch with other systems and applications. 6. Convert an existing competitive search engine to ElasticSearch. 7. Build and maintain the search index as well as the search application itself. 8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ElasticSearch infrastructure and search queries. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2. Proven experience working with ElasticSearch in a production environment. 3. Expertise in Java and JavaScript programming languages. 4. Strong knowledge of search algorithms and data structures. 5. Experience with data modeling and schema design in ElasticSearch. 6. Familiarity with other search engines and the ability to compare and convert them to ElasticSearch. 7. Experience with building and maintaining search indexes and search applications. 8. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Kibana or Grafana. 9.
