MUST have strong DB2 experience! DB2 LUW database experience in AWS. The candidate will set up data for testing/keeping data in sync to source and target environment. Responsibilities Reconciles data between AWS and Mainframes, makes performance improvements for data processing, identifies current data issues, vulnerabilities and implements effective solutions during transformation. Collaborates with the testers to develop and execute manual test cases and exploratory tests following the Test Case standards. Supports transformation efforts in data discovery and data setup. Collaborates closely with technical leads, developers and testers to analyze, document and support the transformation of data from mainframe to cloud. Understands the current functionality, assists and validates data transformation to cloud. Collaborates on the projects code and data conversion Strategy during the planning phase and ensures implementation of this plan to ensure an accurate and effective product. Qualifications At least 5 years or more of experience as a Data Engineer. Strong working knowledge in AWS - Attunity, Cloud Formation Tool, Python (ETL), RDS, SQL, Java, Mainframe and DB2/VSAM.
