High level objectives include: 1) Review the current firewall implementation in both the primary and secondary datacenters. 2) Clean up any redundant firewall rules. 3) Merge configurations following best practice. 4) Build out the firewall configurations on the new firewall pair using best practices. 5) Migrate traffic to new primary datacenter. 6) Troubleshoot and put mitigations in place needed after migration. Minimum Experience Requirements: The contractor must meet or exceed the following minimum experience requirements at the time of response submission and for the duration of the: c. The contractor shall be able to demonstrate successful evaluation and implementation of Palo Alto NGFW systems. d. The contractor shall be able to provide evidence of successful large scale project engagements at a state government or equivalent organizational level. Personnel Qualifications: The contractor shall include the following team members/personnel to administer and perform the contract requirements: a) Working Team: a. Minimum four years of experience managing & building Palo Alto next generation firewalls. b. Minimum eight years of experience as a network engineer c. Minimum four months state of Missouri experience d. Experience with architecting and configuring firewall network connections. e. Experience with setting up VSYS, f. Experience setting up VPN, g. Palo Alto NGFW experience in decryption of network traffic, network traffic inspection content filtering policy, and policy clean-up. The contractor must report to the ITSD Cyber Security Specialist Project Lead or designee, who will provide contract staff with sufficient knowledge to perform the work.
