From: Anamika, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] ** Need local DL of Minnesota only ** Job ID: #95189 Role: SQL DBA Location: 1450 Energy Park Drive, St. Paul, MN (55108) [ Onsite] Duration: 6 months Visa USC or GC Rate: $50-55/hr C2C Description of Project : The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) who will be a member to the Infrastructure Team, will need to work closely with the Server System Engineers, and collaborate with other MNIT DOC and Enterprise teams. The resource will help migrate to new versions of SQL and ensure the availability and optimization of the current MSSQL 2008 2022 databases. The resource may occasionally work with other database platforms such as Oracle. This position will need to have experience in ETL processes and have knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances. Sample Tasks : Support SQL server applications Supporting SQL Server components, including SSIS and SSRS Maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes Performing SQL backups and Disaster Recovery Performing database migrations & upgrades Working with Azure SQL technologies Documenting work and processes Provide mentorship to other DBAs on the team Provide knowledge transfer Desired Skills Experience with SQL server applications and supporting components, including SSIS and SSRS. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes. Experience in mentor IT staff and database design Experience in assessing and introducing new technologies to improve operation of database infrastructure. Experience as a lead worker in a team of subject matter experts of varying capacities Experience in Microsoft Azure SQL technologies.
