Overview We are looking for a skilled Lead Engineer who will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of server-side code modelled on Microservices architecture using Java 8, Spring Boot, REST API, and Hibernate. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in building scalable and reliable systems. Roles & Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of server-side code using Java 8, Spring Boot, REST API, and Hibernate within a Microservices architecture. Utilize expert-level knowledge in Eclipse, GIT, and Maven for efficient development and version control. Architect and automate the build process for production, using task runners or scripts, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment process. Build and maintain infrastructure for serving front-end applications and assets, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and support. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (6+ years) as a Lead Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Java Spring Boot and Microservices. Expert knowledge in designing and implementing server-side code within a microservices architecture using Java 8, Spring Boot, REST API, and Hibernate. Advanced proficiency in Eclipse, GIT, and Maven for efficient development and version control. Strong understanding of Microservices, SQL (MySQL), and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Experience in building infrastructure for serving front-end applications and assets. Proficiency in architecting and automating the build process for production using task runners or scripts. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
