| Please share resume on [email protected] Local to GA, DL needed or Relocation is possible if candidate is a match Hi Please share a suitable candidate for below role Key Skills: Manual firmware test engineer Must come from Telecom Industry like qualcomm, cisco, Motorola etc Experience in embedded Linux testing user/kernel space. Experience in testing wireless communication such as RF, WiFi or Bluetooth. Experience in testing networking protocols such as IPv6, IPv4, ICMP, DHCPv6, TCP/IP, UDP, ethernet, PPP, protocols on layer-2(switching) or layer-3 (routing). Good to have knowledge of scripting language such as Python or Bash. Work independently with minimum guidance. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to consumer networking hardware (routers, switches, wireless access points). Previous lead role or mentoring experience Provide support forDevice Hardware and Firmware - Provide support for manufacturing teams as issues arise that either affects the quality or result in stop-ship scenarios - Represent Support as appropriate in CAPA (Corrective Action, Preventative Action) meetings - Provide in-depthroot cause analysis of customer issues, accurately documenting reasons for failures and appropriate resolutions - Interface with Product Management, Core Engineering, Technical Management Office, and other internal teams to drive quality improvements - Support and adhere to the Companys Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy - Perform other duties as assigned or required This team specifically deals with how data gets from point A to point B. "Did we send X number of bytes from point A to point B correctly" Working on a Mesh network. Along they way they run into Linux, RTOS, and other devices. They need extensive neteworking knowledge to exceed. Testing communication devices, all the protocols are important. They work with 7 layer protocols. Gas meters, water meters mostly. Some devices with RF and celluar but for the most part manual testing. They deal with the backbone communication that carries the data. Focus is commonly with is data flowing correctly, sent on time, routed correctly, is it in the right format They do what they call "gray box testing" ( ) Thanks and Regards!!
