Experience with agile and Jira advanced roadmap exp is crucial Candidate must show the DL / ID proof on video at the time of submission Role Summary The Flow Facilitator role is pivotal in ensuring that the team operates smoothly, delivering value efficiently and predictably while continuously seeking ways to enhance the workflow using Kanban principles. They manage the Kanban board, enforce controlling WIP, and ensure a smooth flow of work. Daily tasks include reviewing work items, blocker clustering to understand systemic issues, unblocking these issues, and monitoring flow metrics like Cycle Time, Throughput, WIP and Work Item Age. They analyze data to identify trends, conduct retrospectives using flow data from the teams system of work, and implement process improvements. The facilitator will work with the team to maintain clear workflow policies, foster open communication, and train the team on Kanban practices. They will work with the aim of enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and predictability. Review and manage the Kanban board to ensure work items flow smoothly through the process. Conduct stand-ups or flow review meetings to discuss the current status of work items, help the team identify bottlenecks, unblock work as needed, apply policies and actively manage work item age. Monitor flow metrics (Cycle Time, WIP, Throughput, Work Item Age) and adjust the system of work as necessary to optimize flow. Help the team kick-off work, ensuring it is right-sized and in line with the teams pull policies. Collect and review data on work items that encounter blockers. Kanban Principles and Practices : Understanding of core Kanban concepts such as visualizing work, controlling work in progress (WIP), active management of flow, and continuous improvement of the system of work. Flow Metrics : Proficiency in understanding and using key flow metrics, including Work in Progress (WIP), Cycle Time, Throughput, and Work Item Age, to drive a data-informed approach to decision-making. Probabilistic Thinking : Ability to think probabilistically, understanding that multiple outcomes are possible and leveraging this mindset to make accurate forecasts and decisions. Data Analysis and Interpretation : Skills in analyzing process behavior charts and understanding the variation in data to identify signals versus noise.
