Role: Sr. .NET Developer with Oracle DB Location: Albany, New York Duration: 21 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 8809 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 06/07/24 5:00 PM Description Design, Maintain, and implement solutions on DLMS (Distributed List management System) applications Utilizing tools such as .Net Core, C#, MVC, PL/SQL, and various other programming tools. Duties Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following: Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF. Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary. Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations. Use a source code repository, such as Tortoise SVN or Visual SVN, or TFS or GIT for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code. Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups. Coordinate service requests with various ITS Chief Operating Office personnel for releases and changes for the application. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop complex n-tier web applications using ASP.NET MVC framework. 84 Months Experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize modern client-side technologies such as HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets. 84 Months Experience in developing and maintaining web applications that utilize modern backend technologies using C# and modern programming principles; Object-oriented, scalable, maintainable, single-responsibility and highest application security standards. 84 Months Experience with Oracle: Database design and modelling, fluent with PL/SQL coding and debugging, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc., including the use of a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data. 72 Months Experience using Team Foundation Server and GIT for source code management. 48 months Experience working with UI/UX team, applying interactive and visual design principles on websites and web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience. 48 months Experience designing and invoking Crystal Reports from web based applications. 24 Months Experience with candidate list management system following Department of Civil Service Guidelines.
