The Role: PHP Developer Location: Charlotte, NC/ NY (Need Onsite day 1, Hybrid 3 days from office, No Remote). Mandatory Skills: MySQL, AWS, APIs / Microservices, Event Driven / TDD (phpUnit etc), Hands on PHP (CodeIgniter and/or Laravel), JavaScript (jQuery or other) / CSS Job Description: We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PHP development, with a focus on CodeIgniter and/or Laravel frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, integrating with databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and/or Laravel. Create responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript (jQuery or other) and CSS. Work with databases, particularly MySQL, for database management. Integrate and build APIs and microservices. Implement event-driven and test-driven development practices using tools such as phpUnit. Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features. Required Skills: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in web development. Proficiency in PHP, with a focus on CodeIgniter and/or Laravel frameworks. Strong understanding of JavaScript (jQuery or other) and CSS for front-end development. Experience with MySQL and database management. Knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure is a plus. Familiarity with building and consuming APIs and microservices. Exposure to event-driven and test-driven development practices. Bonus: Hands-on knowledge of Python.
