Job Summary: The Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions, with a specific focus on migrating Confluence to SharePoint. This role requires a deep understanding of both platforms and the ability to lead and execute complex migration projects. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and architecture of SharePoint solutions, including custom development and integration with other systems. Oversee the migration of Confluence content to SharePoint, ensuring data integrity, user accessibility, and minimal disruption. Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management. Customize SharePoint to meet business requirements, including workflows, forms, and site layouts. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct regular reviews and testing to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of SharePoint solutions. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Provide training and support to end-users post-migration. Stay current with SharePoint updates and Confluence features to leverage new capabilities and improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on SharePoint development and customization. Extensive experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server. Demonstrated experience in migrating Confluence to SharePoint. Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, and other relevant development tools. Strong understanding of Confluence and SharePoint data structures and APIs. Experience with data migration tools and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure services. Knowledge of other content management systems and migration tools.
