| Hi Contract Role: AWS Java Fullstack Engineer Exp 11+ Location: McLean, VA Hybrid (Only Locals) Rate: 65 Must Have Skills Java /J2EE, Spring (Spring Core, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud, Spring Rest Spring Boot) Apigee, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Angular/React with Typescript, Node.js Amazon Web Services (AWS) RESTful API DevOps, CICD ,Docker Agile, Kanban or Scrum methodologies Job Description Strong in Both Frontend & Backend As a consultant within the DI team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Excellent hands-on knowledge in DevOps, CICD pipeline, Excellent knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL databases Knowledge of migrating WebLogic based application to AWS infrastructure Deliver solutions on-time with high bar of quality, and continuously improve software engineering practices. Develop backend microservices & API development using Java, Node.js, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and Tomcat with full ownership of software architecture, design, and development. Good to have UI using Angular/React with Typescript, Node.js, CSS/SCSS and HTML Understand Business need, participate in backlog grooming, design applications based on user stories and Architecture, prototype, develop, unit test and deploy the application. Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define technical solutions to complex business issues that align with target state architecture and conforms with corporate best practices. Engage with the business to discuss issues and document or explain technical solutions in a simplified meaningful way. Contribute to creating delivery pipelines for newly created Micro Services on Docker and OpenShift platforms. Apply broad technical knowledge, judgment, and analytical skills to analyze, develop and implement solutions for process improvements, troubleshooting, production support, production operations and configuration management. Possess comprehensive experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting solutions using the AWS Cloud Advanced understanding of networking, security, and database topics Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. At least 5 plus years of full-time experience in software development including design, coding, testing, and support. At least 3 years of experience in RESTful API design and development At least 2 years of experience with Agile, Kanban or Scrum methodologies At least 1 year of experience in: Apigee, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID At least 1 year of Cloud infrastructure experience working with one or more of the following Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud services: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, EMR, EKS, S3, SNS, SQS, Cloud Formation, Cloud watch, Lambda. At least 5 plus years of full-time experience in software development including design, coding, testing, and support.
