Candidates need to have a Screening with Vendor for 10 mins on MS Teams. -He will first check comms skills. and then technically Position: INFOR M3 - Senior Network Engineer 100% Fully Remote ( Indianapolis, IN ) C2H -6 months LinkedIn is must with a picture Must have excellent Communications Skills - 8+ years of experience position summary Network Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Key Responsibilities :- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks Perform network administration, management, and support functions. Perform network maintenance functions and tuning to assure maximum performance and reliability. Perform network security patching, updates, and hardening. Perform Demand, Capacity and Lifecycle Mgmt. Perform network configuration changes, backups, and recovery processes. Administer, support, and configure WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLANS, VPN, switches, and firewall systems. Perform firewall rule changes. Monitor and respond to hardware, software, and network Incidents and Events Monitor and control the performance and status of network resources. Installing, configuring, and supporting Meraki MX and Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco switches, SD-WAN (Viptela), DNS and DHCP Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation. Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Arranging scheduled upgrades Investigating faults in the network Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases Reporting network status to key stakeholders Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware Installing and configuring network equipment Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected. Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems. Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management. Implementing disaster recovery procedures Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems. Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRP In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently. Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructure. Time management Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation. Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology.
