Please let me know if you are interested Role: Data Architect Location: Oakland, CA or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) Experience: 10+ We are seeking an Associate Data Architect (Data & Analytics) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience or strong interest in architecture for analytical tools, reporting tools, and data virtualization tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, is beneficial. This role involves assisting in developing data architecture standards, supporting the maintenance of architecture patterns, and contributing to advanced analytics integration. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture Standards Documentation: Assist in developing and maintaining documentation covering data modeling, ELT integration, security, and governance. Help manage a repository for all architecture documents accessible to stakeholders. Data Lake Architecture: Support the update and enhancement of the Data Lake architecture to incorporate new technologies and best practices. Data Analytics Architecture: Assist in reviewing and optimizing the Data Analytics architecture to enhance performance and data processing capabilities. Contribute to integration with data consumption technologies and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and BOBJ. Sandbox Architecture: Help develop and update sandbox architecture patterns to enhance flexibility, scalability, and security. Support the creation of dynamic environments for experimentation and innovation, including sandbox environments for data scientists and functional analysts. Enterprise Reference Data Management: Help establish and maintain standards for enterprise reference data management, governance, application integration, and stakeholder communications. Qualifications: Some experience or strong interest in architecture for analytical tools, reporting tools, and data virtualization tools. Familiarity with cloud technology, preferably with Azure. Snowflake experience is preferred. Interest in developing and documenting data architecture standards. Understanding of data modelling, ELT integration, data security, and governance is beneficial. Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Interest in sandbox environments for data exploration and analysis. Knowledge of AI/ML principles and enterprise architecture is a plus. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
