This position drives the initiation, planning, design, testing, and delivery stages of technology projects in a matrix environment to achieve measurable business objectives. The Technology Project Manager oversees the entire project lifecycle from initiation (intake) through transition to operations (project closure). Required: Strong experience project managing field services management and mobile workforce management solutions for utilities Bachelors degree (preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field) 7+ years of professional experience formally leading projects within a cross-functional environment Strong experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Iterative models Ability to tactfully drive indirect reports and pivot while maintaining order in a fast-paced business environment Experience providing a service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or Agile certification Experience working in Software Development and Test Organizations Masters degree (in aforementioned fields) Experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry Experience with SAP implementations or optimizations Experience with PPM tools (e.g., UMT360, Planview, ServiceNow, Project Server Online, etc.) Experience in a consultative role with an implementation service organization or start-up Regards, Praveen [email protected] Themesoft Inc Keywords: information technology microsoft Arizona Contract job opportunity for IT Project Manager in Poughkeepsie, AZ (Onsite) [email protected] |
